How can I patch my Yoga ball?

My 20 pound cat jumped onto my 'Fit Solutions' Yoga ball and caused a small slit puncture, which made my ball go flat when I sat on it. Is there a way to patch the hole that will hold air under pressure when I use it?

Hi Sandi, I guess you cannot blame the cat for trying to do some relaxing yoga ;) Anyway, there is a product called Tear-Aid, which is a vinyl repair kit/product. You can purchase it at various places including Walmart. I only have good experiences with it and it gets rather good ratings online (I have not used it on yoga balls but it works great on air matresses etc.). Good luck and all the best to you and your cat :-)

Perhaps the patches for air mattresses in the camping department? Or how about a tire patch from the automotive department?

I used this product on my air mattress and as you know they are under pressure and it works great! My 16 pound cat did the same but you have to love them 🐱

I'm sorry Cori...I should have said that the product Tear Aid...Nicole from the first comment you got was suggesting you try. I bought Tear Aid Repair Type B Vinyl kit at my local Walmart. Also I think Amazon carries Tear Aid. After the repair...I put many blankets on my air mattress hoping my Cat Balou could walk or sleep on it without putting holes in it...lol. I hope this works for you!

Yes, but it is a temporary fix that may need to be repaired again down the road. This site shows you how to make the repair and also offers advice and tips. Silly cat!!!! http://www.ehow.com/how_5681392_repair-fitness-ball.html

Is there anything that you can do with duct tape to patch up a hole in a yoga ball?

Just got a new stability ball because my Oscar used his claws on my old one. It lasted 1 day before he did it again. Tried the duct tape. Nope. Tried a bike tire patch. I was so glad my husband was home to pick me up off the floor when it deflated after 5 minutes sitting on it. Not sure what to do. Don't want to keep buying patch kits. Maybe Tear Aid is the way to go. Not sure. I love my stability ball chair - really helps my back.

Ever see the guy who put a screen door into the bottom of his boat and coats it with Flex Seal? Well, they make a tape and it is great. It will fix your yoga ball and seal a burst pipe. It will gunk up your sissors when you cut it, but a little WD40 will clean them up.

Look for water bed patch. It is a piece of vinyl with special glue. Try Amazon.
