How do I repair damaged oven floor?
I put foil in the bottom of my oven to catch drips. BIG mistake! It apparently melted and stuck to the oven floor. I soaked with several products. It didn't work. I had to scrape to remove it and the paint came up with the foil. I now have a mess in my oven. (It is a self-cleaning oven.) Is oven paint available? Help anyone...please!

Try combining baking soda and white vinegar to make a paste. Spread it on the floor of the oven and let it sit overnight. Wipe it off and scrape any pieces left on with a plastic scraper. Good luck, Judy!
Try scraping it . No paint for inside of an oven. Scape this mess off and see what you have left. The finish on the bottom of an oven is not that important. Get regular foil oven liners (from the store) - but these have to be removed prior to using a self cleaning function
Hi, Judy. Thanks for the warning as I've been tempted to use foil myself!
I found some hopefully useful tips for repairing the part that has been removed.

Unfortunately I also did this. Call the manufacturer and you can just replace the bottom that has been damaged. What a horrible mess I had also.
Thank you! Thank you!
