Did you check the circuit breaker? Possible overload if other appliances on same circuit. If not.......any “electrical” smell, then possible electronic failure and probably cheaper to replace.............. Good luck!
Yes. Is the outlet still working? Did the circuit breaker trip? If not, then it probably shorted and time to replace it.
It sounds like you blew the fuse. You'll have to remove the case and replace the fuse. Please, unplug it first.
This is good advice.
It's easy to tell if a glass fuse is blown; it will show scorch marks, and the filament will be melted. To check a ceramic fuse, use an ohmmeter or continuity tester. With an ohmmeter or multimeter, you should see a reading close to zero ohms if the fuseis intact, or infinite if it's blown.Nov 12, 2016
