I don't have experience, but I have heard that non-stick spray baking spray can help with that.
Crazy as it sounds, non-stick cooking spray or cooking oil. When I lived in snow country I used this on my snow shovel. You may need to do it several times for a big area.

Spray cooking oil. Auger and chute. Also snow shovels.
I use a dry lubricant called Jig-A-Loo (http://www.jigaloo.ca) on my snow shovels which prevents the snow from adhering and allows for easier throwing up onto the snowbank. It's available at Home Depot but any dry lubricant should do, just make sure it's graphite-free if you don't want a dark discoloration. I prefer this one over WD-40 because it smells much more pleasant, it's invisible and it has a million uses, even making your boots and shoes water repellent! Hope that helps
