I had a bad wallpaper experience so I bought a 5 gallon bucket of plaster for ceiling and put it on my wall and played with it made dips swirls that hid alot what imprrfections I say lol
Many of the paint stores have an additive you can add to the paint ,looks like sand or you can get one that has a bit sparkle or both. You have to remember to keep stirring the paint while your using it cause it will settle to the bottom . It's just enough to disguise the slight imperfections
Depending on budget, time and skill level, you can make one wall an accent wall using reclaimed wood. Pallet wood is a good option, but it takes quite a bit of time to disassemble the pallets, sand/stain them. Another option is various shades of wood flooring. A lot of times Craig’s list has people who are selling or giving way their extra flooring because they bought too much. Attach the wood to the wall ensuring you’re nailing them to the studs.
