Hi Barbara. I'm Cindy. You will need to go up in your attic and blow insulation down into the walls between the two-by-fours. I have to admit that I got this answer from my husband. Good luck Barbara.

Crumpled newspaper
I knew a neighbour who had an older home in need of insulating. The problem was that they were just getting by on their small budget. His solution; He went to a local sawmill(prolific in this area) and they were more than happy to give him all the sawdust he needed. He hauled sawdust home, filled his walls full, waited some days and topped them off before sealing them back up.He claimed this worked so good that he used the same method to insulate an out-building that he referred to as his sellar, where they kept all their canned summer vegetables. He said he would keep one regular 100 watt bulb burning during the very coldest(like the below zero)times.Said he never had anything freeze in that building.
