    Hello! Typically, to remove old wallpaper, score the wallpaper and then spray it with a mix if fabric softener and water. Soak it well and let it soak in for several hours. It should peel or scrape off fairly easily at that point. Good luck!

    Water and fabric softener wiped on, let soak then scrape with a putty knife/paint scraper (elbow grease and patience)

    Depends on how many layers of paper are underneath and what walls are made of - wallboard, plaster.... I had to put up barnsiding in my hallway because there were three (3) layers of paper, and a gentlemen at the wallpaper store advised me not to attempting removing it because it could damage the walls. I am really happy with barnsiding, and it has been up about 35 yrs. Can nail and hang pictures, and there is no care involved.
