Buy some ReStoreAFinish wood furniture conditioner and wipe it on with a soft cotton rag (I use old socks). It will not be perfect, but will look so much better. Buy it at Home Depot, Lowes, hardware stores, etc.![]()

I removed the veneer with a scraper gently then used a solvent to remove all glue. That left me with a very beautiful wooden table top. From that point be creative. -
