I have a bar stools with leather seat cushions. It appears some one had a sharp object in their back pocket and it made two rips in the cushion. One is about 3" and one smaller about 2". Is their any hope in repairing them?

There are leather repair kits available. Check auto departments, but keep in mind you want to slip some kind of patch under your leather that you will also bond so that someone sliding on the seat doesn’t rip it open again.

You can find leather repair kits at any local automobile supply store, as they can match colors well. They work pretty nicely-just be sure to follow instructions carefully.

Take the stool apart and remove the leather. See if you can patch it with duct tape underneath. Then put it back on the chair.

I had a tear in my leather seat in my mustang from my husband getting in to move it, he had a screw driver in his pocket, the tearwas about 3 inches long. I bought a leather and vinyl repair kit made by 3M. It comes with everything you need. Just follow the directions. The kit comes with different colored mixs so you can blend to get a perfect match. I can barely see where the tear in my car seat was.
