How do I fix the bracket on a dresser drawer?

I found a tall boy dresser for really cheap at a garage sale and other than 2 of the drawer brackets being broken it is in wonderful condition. Very excited about it. I plan to paint it at a later date. As you can see in the photos the bracket piece is loose/broken. Is there a way for me to fix this?

Can't put a screw there cause it would in the way of putting the drawer back in the dresser. Best solution I have is use a two part epoxy for metal and coat the tab on the drawer. Place the slide back in place and another coat of epoxy. Let it cure and dry for at least a day or two.
Gorilla glue may work to hold the rail in position. Run the glue the length of the rail, to the front edge. Put the runner into the channel. Weight the top of the rail with books or similar until glue has set.
If you glue the channel down I'd glue some small blocks of wood on either side of the rail. They will help hold the rail from shifting sideways when the drawer is pulled in and out.
It look like your best bet is to replace the drawer slide assy. .
Lowes, Home Depot etc. ( cheap ) It's not a beg deal.
Easy Too

I took my drawer as this to my local True Value and they helped me get the parts to repair it. You could do the same at Home Depot or Lowe's, too.
