What can I use to repair a screw hole that is stripped?

There is something to use to make new treads for the screw that will no longer tighten can be bought
in home improvement stores. Any suggestions?

    Hello. You can purchase wall anchors. You would put this in the hole and then put your screw in. Good Luck!

    Well you need too create a shim. You didn't say how large of a screw. But for example : If it's a hinge screw on cabinets stick a toothpick in hole & than insert screw. If that not enough grip add more of the tooth pick. Break off what is left. Create something for teeth to grip to . Again you didn't say what size or type of screw
