    you have to locate the problem first....which is most likely on the roof...sorry you def want a professional for this don't wait..it will just get worse...

    Get a friend to go into the attic to see what's going on.

    Like Cindy said, get a pro to cone assess the situation. Most of them give free estimates. If its a matter of replacing a missing tile on the roof, hopefully you know someone handy that will do it for you.

    It leaks from the top down and has to be repaired from the roof. Cannot be done from the inside out. Dont climb on it yourself, perhaps there is a neighbor or friend who can help.

    You would only putting a bandaide on a huge problem if fixing inside only. Call a pro or local handyman. they will do all they can to help you!
