How do I fix my patio from Thompsons water seal??

Powerwashed patio.. let it dry 2 days. then applied Thompson's waterseal over the old paint on patio. Now it has turned white in spots and still sticky after 1 week.. How do I fix it??

I would suggest calling the Thompson one 800 customer service line for their suggestions regarding their product failure.
I know with BEHR deck seal products they have excellent customer support and advice. They are guaranteed-even provide free replacement deck sealing and deck wash product shipped to your home.

Hi. Use mineral spirits or paint thinner and remove sealer. You may need to repaint. Lesson learned, right? Sorry.
Is there a chance that the wood isn't really dry, and that it is keeping the sealer from curing? I am in NE PA where it only rained twice this summer, once for 45 days and then again for 30 days. I don't think our decking will be dry until the end of next summer. Maybe the wood needs time to dry out so the sealer can cure.
