I need to redo my existing driveway that runs adjacent to my neighbors

Does anyone have any ideas as to creating a border to delineate mine from theirs? The driveways are concrete and they refuse to do any maintenance on their deteriorating mess?

It will be costly but maybe dig a trench between the driveways and put stones in, This way there will be a natural divider.

First you need to know where the property line is. Then you need go to your Village Hall Building Dept. and find out how far away you need to be off the property line to put something down. In my County its a minimum of 3". Then you can choose stone, landscape blocks, paver bricks, etc.

Assuming your not wanting a "wall" or true "divider", a fairly cheap alternative just to mark yours vs. theirs would be simply to paint a line between the two using porch paint. For something more attractive you can cut out a strip between the two drive ways and add a strip of bricks down the middle level with the driveways.

My son dug out a few inches on his side of the property line and planted a nice row of hedges.

I created a concrete curbing to delineate my side of drive on a shared drive by setting bricks on narrow edge along the line. I used Sidewalk Patch to adhere them to the existing drive and then troweled and smoothed a rounded curb up to top of brick. It worked well, reduced water washing across, channeled rain toward the street.

I would use brick or pavers.
