Garbage disposal not draining

Have a 2 sided kitchen sink. Left side drains easy. Have an InSinkeratoron right side. Only 7 years old max. Recently hade blades get stuck. I restarted & got thr teeth going Agsin & it worked ok for awhile. Now it's not draining at all. Have used plunger, draining, etc. trying to avoid having to buy a new GD. Will post pic later

Have you tried using the reset button on the back side of the GD? Sometimes that will help. So sorry that you are having this problem. Good luck.

Hey Pamela. Thanks for the note. Yeah, I used the reset button a few times as well. We got lucky & it drained last night though. Still think I'm going to have to switch it out though.

Don't know if you tried this or if it's the same problem but mine got stuck like that a couple weeks ago and a guy came to fix it and all he did was use a thick stick- like a billy club or the end of a wooden broom and pressed it all the way to the bottom and pushed it around like a 'witch's cauldron' (his words, not mine). But that got it all moving very quickly.
