If you are saying it doesn't drain well, pour a scant cup of baking soda in it, then a cup or more of vinegar. It will bubble - it's loosening the gunk - When the bubbling stops, pour a pot of boiling water in the drain. It should run clear. If not, repeat the process. It probably has a lot of hair in the drain.

Probably clogged with hair. They have things to remove the hair in the drain. Remove the drain cover and use the little tool to fish out the hair. Gross but it’s usually the culprit.

The easiest way I've found is to pour 1/2 cup baking soda into drain. Use a spatula to force it down the drain if needed. Next, pour 1cup of vinegar down the drain and quickly cover the drain with a drain cover or damp towel to force the vinegar and baking soda to the clog. Hold the cover over the drain until the fizzing stops.

    • Pour boiling water down the drain.
    • Try using a plunger.
    • Use baking soda and vinegar (the natural alternative to chemicals)!
    • Take the drain cover off and pull out the clog by hand.
    • Use a hook.
    • Use a plumbers' snake (also sometimes called a "toilet jack" or an "electric eel").
