THE TOILET SEEMS TO FLUSH PROPERLY, BUT WHAT IS CAUSING THIS SREAMING NOISE UNTIL THE TANK IS FULL AGAIN?

    Hi,

Click on the link below for an article that might help you. It sounds like it just needs a replacement part. Wishing you the best.

Sound like the fill valve. Calcium deposits would cause a restriction. I would replace it.

If the toilet is Toto, lift up the part that allows water into the nowl, use a soft cloth soaked in vinegar, clean the part, paying special attention at the points of contact, that should remove water chemical buildups, leave u with a squeekless flush n fill.

A whining noise when the tank is filling is often caused by restricted water flow to the refill valve. Check that your main shutoff valve connected to the toilet is fully open. If this is partially closed, your tank may not be getting enough water. If the valve is open, examine the washers on the ballcock assembly. If these are damaged or covered in scale buildup, the water flow will be restricted as the tank fills.
