How to remove plastic back flow preventer on outdoor faucet?

we have plastic backflow preventer on outdoor faucet. It does not have any screws. How to remove it ?
I would say it just unscrews off the faucet. Use a pair of pliers to unscrew it.

Use a good heavy duty wrench to take off..these r a pain and restrict your water flow
If your referring to the removing the inside portion, I get needle nosed pliers and just twist it out.
