Have you tried good old vinegar? I buy the least expensive white vinegar in gallon jugs.

Been there, done that. Didn’t work. Tried the oven cleaner too and the vinegar and dawn mixture. All failures.

Easy Off No Fume Oven Cleaner in the BLUE can. It need to be clean for anything to adhere to it. Even the tub and tile kits will fail if prep is not done properly.

Already tried the oven cleaner and vinegar and vinegar and dawn dish soap. Might be more stained than dirty. Looking for something to “paint” it. Maybe I’ll try sanding or steel wool.

Debra, I'm sorry you have not found a product or method to work for you, hopefully others will have better suggestions for you. I'm not familiar with the material you have so I can't think of anything else to suggest. I also have a stain in my fiberglass shower that I can't get out. It's a white, one piece tub & shower unit, original to my 40 year old house with an ugly yellowish stain. Yuck!

Good luck! Maybe someone can help both of us!

You can try Rust-Oleum tub and tile paint Kit.
