Sulphur . .... Hello Katherine, my grandma's water always smelled like that once the county made her switch from hand pumped ewell water to indoor plumbing YUCK!

Hydrogen Sulfide gas forms when water reacts with concrete (common sewer pipe problem). Do you have an aged concrete lined water heater? If so, suspect its liner to be leaking...

Do you have a Natural Gas water heater? If so, call the Natural Gas Company-you have a gas leak.

If you have well water, it's likely caused from sulphur. You probably would need a UV filter installed

Hi; Had this problem a year ago. Your water has lime in it and your hot water tank is full of lime built up inside. Time for a NEW hot water tank before it blows.. I hated that smell , your dish cloth , clothes after washing a shower or bath makes you feel like your not clean at all . Good Luck ..
