I have used caustic soda a few years ago it was great but not sure if you can still buy it was really cheap about £1.00 that's all
Try renting a snake and snaking the drain. Also enzyme drain cleaners like Zep can do wonders.
Assuming you are positive there isn't a solid object that got in there somehow, I will say my tried and true method is to use at least a half a bottle of a gel formula drain cleaner, let it sit as long as possible, like over night, and then I VERY carefully follow up by pouring gallons, (I have three Dutch ovens 😑) of boiling water into it. If it's totally stopped up of course, you won't be able to pour that much at one time. Sometimes you may need to do it more than once.
Using vinegar and baking soda followed by boiling water periodically helps to keep you from getting to this point
Pour baking soda and vinegar down the drain followed by boiling hot water.
