How can I prevent my husbands walker from leaving marks on the floor?
My husband had a major stroke in June and is using a walker. The tires are made of rubber and leave black marks anywhere he touches a door, wall, etc. Does anyone know of white wheel chair wheels or of something I could coat the black rubber? I appreciate your help.

Buy replacement wheels I have seen gray wheels go to a medical supply store and tell them what you need they should be able to order them for you.
Cut tennis balls and attach them to the legs. That should help.
There are covers that slip over the rubber parts of the wheels. Not sure how well they work, but they might be something to ask about at the place that supplied the wheelchair.
Thank you all. I need to clarify. It is actually a Rollater and has wheels not legs. I appreciate your help.
Contact a medical supply store to determine if alternate tires are available. Your only other option is to apply rubber bumpers or similar to protect your walls and doors.
