After refinishing a dining room set two of the doors don't fit anymore! one door is too wide all of a sudden and the other seems to have swelled on the top and bottom. even after taking into consideration that the new paint may have been too much and scraping it off. It is over 100 yrs old and one of the craftsman sets from the 1914's which I rescued from an old basement and was about to be thrown out. This is the third time I have reinvented it in the last 25 yrs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Leave the doors in the room where they will go for a week or so.They need to acclimate to the area.Swelling might go down.

If the swelling does not go down you may have to sand or plane off enough of one edge to get them to fit. Alternatively, you may need to take out the doorframe and use thinner boards for that.
