A good glue may keep them together, but being the shelves are fairly thin, and so smooth, they may not stay together. It is worth a try.

You could try roughing up the broken edges to have the glue hold better, and may have to also put a layer on the underside and the top after sanding the area a bit to extend the thickness of the glue a little bit. It may not look real good, but gluing something over the crack after gluing the pieces together may help strengthen the area.

I'd glue first and reinforce the underside w/plexiglass or other suitable product which depending on how it slides in might have to be cut less than the shelf full size. You could try reinforcing w/vinyl wall board made for shower area.

If it doesn't actually fasten to the refrigerator itself, I would just go to Home Depot and get them to cut a replacement from plexiglass.

Two ideas here. You can judge for appearance sake. I would use Gorilla glue and then support that when dry with some duct tape-you can get it in white or whatever match color you need. If that doesn't seem to be holding weight, then you would and could get a replacement shelf from appliance parts place online by just using your make and model number. I use Repair Clinic and Appliance Parts Pros.

Thank you. The refrigerator is old and nobody seems to carry parts for it. But I appreciate the leads.

Adding...Sorry.... They are both available online and generally you get parts in less than 3 days.
