If your washer is blocking the door and you can't move it back, or to another place, maybe you can hide it with a drape. If so, It's probably look better with the whole door taken off and a drape covering the whole doorway.
Hello. Could you install a barn door that goes on rails? It would give you a little more depth.

There are lots of gorgeous roller shades out there with interesting textures, like bamboo or textured linen and rice paper. The roller could go up in the channel. They’d not obstruct your access to the machines.
You could attach magnetic tape toward the bottom that would catch the machines so that they wouldn’t flutter when not in use.
