Brr! Drafty windows- how to cut the draft?

If you don't have studs, I'd suggest a 2x4 installed over the door frame. Paint it the same color as your wall, and install the barn hardware to the 2x4. It would have to be the length of your hardware, and it would be long enough to attach to studs! Good luck!

Use a toggle bolt. The butterfly opens in the wall and grips the back of the drywall when the bolt is tightened.
