How can I change the color of my white grout?
I have white grout throughout my home. It is very hard to keep clean and I would like to change the color. If I stain or paint the grout and it does not hold up can it be stained or painted over in the future?

Hi Gina! I had the same problem at my old house when I decided to go with white grout in my kitchen and bathroom. Our area is notorious for red mud and it stained the grout so I used paint made especially for grout to change the color and seal it. Yes, you can paint over it if it wears down, but it holds up well to traffic and cleaning.

Ployblend Grout Renew - An Affordable, Easy Way to Update Grout Color
Yes, you can redo it again. Just make sure that you seal it really good and you shouldn't have a problem. I stained a grout shower floor and it's fine.
There are grout colorants available in the tile section of your local home improvement store, or if not, then online. They come in lots of colors.
Hi Gina, hope this helps you out,
