Good morning, DIYers! I'm going to be laying peel-and-stick vinyl tiles on my kitchen floor. I don't know whether I should (or shouldn't) put polycrylic on after laying the tiles. Was wondering if the tile 'seams' need to be filled in. Hope my question makes sense!?

No sealer and no filling joints. Joints should be tight when installing. Follow manufacturers instructions.

If you haven't purchased the tile yet, you might want to consider the peel & stick that can be grouted if you are concerned about seams. Then you can seal the grout. I've never put a sealant on top of those tiles but have a hard time imagining it adhering to the tile. I know the tiles are already sealed and I would think it might cause issues.

One piece of advice I would give for your consideration is using additional adhesive. I've put these type tiles down for a few rooms of my own as well as several other people. Whenever I didn't use the additional adhesive there would always be a few tiles that come loose. I've never had that when I added adhesive. The kind I used is put down and let it get tacky before you put the tile down.

After installing the peel and stick tiles you should go over them with a floor roller. You can seal the lines to prevent moisture from seeping thru. Use a seam sealer which is sold at many flooring stores.
