Get a large pot to fit inside, make sure it has drainage holes and make a planter
flip it over for a plant stand. Or leave it as is and add the plant on the top in the hole.
I wasn't thinking when I told you to use it for a planter. Outside maybe it would work. I didn't think of the size it actually was. Sorry.
The barn wood look is in right now. Perhaps find some way of using that as a top? If you want glass back in it, a local glazier (glass shop) can make you a new top.
A couple ideas. One buy a piece of ply wood cut it to fit the top on of the stool paint it with out door paint. Now go find the largest old bowl or basin with a lip on it........cut the center of the wood to fit the bowl or basin. Do the same for circle in between the legs. You could use the top basin or bowl fro a bird bath place some plants around it or as a feeder. For the one between the legs would be a great place for a fern or other shade plant.
Cut plywood to size. Glue on pennies, bottle caps, broken up pieces of tile...the possibilities are endless
MEASURE THE DEPTH OF THE LIP AROUND THE TABLE, SO YOU KNOW HOW THICK THE WOOD CAN BE. HAVE ANY PLYWOOD? COAT WITH measure THE DEPTH OF THE LIP AROUND THE TABLE, SO YOU KNOW HOW THICK THE WOOD CAN BE. HAVE ANY PLYWOOD? COAT WITH VARITHAN SPELLING! ON ALL SIDES. YOU MIGHT LIKE TO DO SOME INTERESTING STAIN PATTERNS ON THE WOOD AND THEN SEAL it! have any broken tiles or rocks. go.around the circumference...let your imagination go wild!
If you don't want to make another top, turn it over and get a large flower pot to put between the legs. it would make a nice pot stand. Or get a shallow bowl that would fit between the legs and make a large bird bath.
Thanks. My mind is starting to spin from all the great options.
Hi, my glass out of my table like this broke & I've been trying to figure out what to do with my piece as well! Love the ideas everyone has here! Just wanted to say Thank you!
find a shallow glass bowl that fits opening and use as a bird bath.
Cut a board to fit. Then mosaic tile to cover it. I have one I purchased at a thrift shop very similar - and it has a mosaic tile top. Or take it to a glass hop and have glass cut to fit.
Have a piece or two of plexiglass cut to fit. If you have 2 cut you could layer with something pressed between to change decor with the season or to personalize.
It would make a great stand inside the center of a larger table or mosaic/brick ring that you could build a fire (propane) ring in... Create a sheet metal basin that the ring can be attached within, fill with fire glass and enjoy!
Tall firepit or drink cooler for parties.
Find a container to fit inside and is a good holding wash clothes ( little towels ) in your bathroom
The inside looks like the right size for a bird bath, and you can hang crystals or humming bird feeders around the upper outside circle. Place it over a succulent, this way there is something nice to look at in every level. Take a little bit of all suggestions and come up with something that fits you. Most importantly enjoy
Add galvanized tub from farm store and use as a drink stand.
Would also make an awesome raised fire pit.
Put a large galvanized pail inside and use it as an ice bucket for outdoor parties,
