Sounds like a very unique bottle! A picture would help a ton in offering up ideas that would actually be useful to you! Going blind here, you could put decorative sticks in it (curly willow is my fave). You could use it as a vase for flowers. Or even just put it on a shelf in a grouping (an odd number in a grouping is the best in my book). Put a picture on, and I bet you'll get inundated with ideas!
Clean it out and put fairy lights in it, make a cute night light!
You could cover it with decorative paper/napkins/wrapping paper using mod podge, or paint it with chalk paint and distress it. You could wrap it in jute rope. And then use it as a decorative vase.
