Has anyone found a 're-purpose/re-use' for the styro packing peanuts ?

If you string the on fishing line we used them as a popcorn looking garlande for the Christmas tree for years when my kids were small. You can add bells or beadsbin between. Fun project and great memories making them. -

use them as the bottom layer for a potted plant/ or a raised garden bed. They provide drainage. -

I put them in the bottom of my large garden pots to take up space and not make the pot heavy
