How can I reuse old fragile ornaments?
I have old ornaments from the 1950s-1960s. I don’t want to hang them on a tree. What can I create with them?

Place them on a clear glass vase and set on a side or coffee table. Any display where they will not be touched will work.
I decorated a window area in our living room. I just hung them in a window each on a different length ribbon.
Hi Ivy,
I'm Linda and I have a few of those too. I found wire (you could use any kind) sleighs in a catalog. I put faux "snow" in the bottom of the sleighs to protect the ornaments, then put a few in each sleigh. I put them on my mantle so they are high enough that the kids can't accidentally knock them down. I also put greens around them to make them look festive and lights between the greens. It gives me a place to display these precious ornaments and still keep them safe. I hope this helps you. Happy Christmas decorating!
I do what Naomie suggested but as a center piece on the dining room table.
I also have my first ornament hanging on a single ornament hanger.
Find a big glass container at Hobby Lobby or Micheals in the floral dept. and stack them maybe along with other small inexpensive balls. Display on your table or side table or mantle. Also hang as a swag on a doorway with ribbon to hold them.
I love old ornaments in an old soda crate as a display piece. You can find reproduction crates at Michaels.
