How do you turn an old fishing boat into a water fountain?
Just got back from the beach and was looking how to change the backyard into a beach scene. I was trying to figure out how to make a fountain/water feature out of a old fishing boat. Any suggestions??

Put a liner which you can get at Home Depot or Lowes into the boat. Buy a fountain kit which includes a small motor. There are solar models so you will not need electric.
Clean and paint the boat first, you do not say whether it is metal. If so use Rustoleum
Good luck and have fun converting this boat.
You could create a pool around the boat giving the illusion that it was floating. Then a fountain coming up inside the boat would appear as if the boat was "sinking". If done properly you could also climb into the boat and fish or picnic!

You will need a nearby source of electricity accessed with an exterior-rated
electrical outlet, to run the fountain pump. Using extension chords is Not advised, as it is not safe where any water in involved.
