Hi Slo. You could use them to hold soap bars, cosmetics, hair accessories, office supplies (especially ink cartridges), baking supplies (especially flour or sugar), chocolate chips or nuts, grocery bags, screws, nuts, and bolts.
I already do,and tin cans can be hidden by coulored single sockss.
Cover it with interesting wallpaper or paint it and use it as a storage box.
If you clean them out well enough you can make a bird feeder, hair accessory storage, rubber band storage, if you have kids you can use them to hold leggo/bricks, small toys, craft supplies, crayons/markers
