Repurpose icing containers

Any clever ideas on how to recycle and reuse plastic cake icing containers?

    I use them to store and even mix small amounts of homemade chalk paint.

    The plastic lids fit the medium cat food cans perfectly.

    Use them to make small centerpieces or even a cake topper. Set in the center of a piece of pretty fabric and tuck the fabric up and into the container. Floral foam can hold the fabric in place. Arrange silk flowers and greens and you have a centerpiece you have coordinated to your color scheme without the expense of buying vases. You can also just cover the container in paper or wrap layers or ribbon or lace.

    I superglued the bottoms to a painted board made new labels that covered the lids and wrote the contents so things would be easy to find. I made one board for my sewing supplies, one for my hobby supplies and one for the nails, screws and so on all for the projects table. You can cover the containers with fabric or paint them I made narrow risers like stairs for the boards and nailed them in place. Made my work space seem bigger and more organized.
