Repurpose uses for diaper genie?

We have two diaper genies and no longer need them for their intended purpose. I don't want to just chuck them, and I know they can be recycled, but I would really like to do something with them. Searching online all I find are hacks for not using the refills, or camouflage so they aren't such a big plastic eyesore. Not what I'm looking for, and I don`t need them as trash cans. Any other ideas?

This may sound silly, but how about donating them to a local daycare center.

I cannot think of one craft for a diaper genie. I would offer them to a church nursery.

Sorry, the only thing I can come up with is to decorate it say like R2D2 from star wars or Olaf from Frozen and put a light in it for a kids room. Good Luck...I just donated mine to a girl down the street who was pregnant..

Cleaning out litter box . Empty weekly, use plastic grocery bags to collect it, drop it in. Wish I actually had one!
