How can I upcycle plastic containers?

I have several large coffee creamer containers and Tide Pods containers. Since our community does not recycle I want to find a fun project to use them. HELP!

In this day and age, every municipality ought to recycle. Thats just criminal. Mine takes literally everything.

  I have been trying for years to get them to recycle. Have been told it's too expensive. I'm not welcome at the Council meetings any longer!! Thanks for your suggestions

  Oh dear, I hear you. They need to band together with other municipalities to make it cost effective. I have a private service and pay $25 a month. For my mom's house, electric, trash, sewer and water are all lumped together and billed by the City and residents have no choices and that costs me about $300+ a month depending on how hot it is and electricity usage. Trash portion of the service $75 a month. Freaking highway robbery. I also understand about not being welcome at Council meetings, it is the same here and dealing with the fruitloop and moron mentality can be very trying on one's nerves.

Those are great for storage containers for odds and ends. I use some of the to hold craft paint brushes. I removed the labels and spray painted them with paint made for plastic. Krylon has a good one.
