Think about buying a set of commercially made "water bottles". Less risk of seepage fro the bottles into the water. My mom does this as well. She will drink it if it is in bottles rather than a glass. She has to drink at least 4 daily for a health condition.

Good for you! it depends on the type of bottle you keep refilling. There is the bpa issue with some plastics maybe you can use a stainless steel bottle which is sturdy, safe and easy to keep clean. read this thoughtful and intelligent article and see if you don't agree: http://www.sustainablebabysteps.com/stainless-steel-water-bottles.html

If you're not using paba free bottles toss them. A paba free bottle is fairly inexpensive and you can use them over and over. You need to wash them just like you would a cup, bacterias all build up from saliva, etc.

Yup - dispose of them! Get yourself a thermos made of stainless steel. You'll save money in the long run. Wash the thermos out at night.

At a variety store. Walmart has them. Even some grocery stores have them. Really nice ones are at sporting goods stores. We have a chain of stores locally called "5 and Below", they have them.
