How can I upcycle an old ironing board?

I just got this at an auction and am looking for ways to use this ironing board. Outside or inside. Thanks!

I've always thought this pegboard was really cute: https://www.hometalk.com/diy/organize/storage-ideas/ironing-board-storage-peg-board-from-my-2012-vault-1781840
But I could also see it painted in a bright color and placed in a the garden as a trellis to grow vines on.

Outside, I would paint it with Rustoleum metal paint to prevent rusting. Inside, I would make a snappy cover for it.
