What should I do with (4) 6 ft tall shutters; I need ideas?

I need ideas for (4) 6 ft tall shutters. I love New Orleans style w/shutters and want to use them inside. I don't want to re-use as furniture but hang in a unique way that has that New Orleans flair! I almost hung on wall to look like doorway. Any ideas?

why not build a box in the shape of a window and frame up a favorite picture - of course large enough to cover the full opening, and attach the shutters to it? make it look like a window in reverse.
Nikki, you have some of the most creative ideas! I love your idea of doing a tromp d’iol door, or I would add, two windows. If you do, add wood window ledges or the other parts of frames but only as wide as the shutters. Paint shadows and details near the “front”. And PLEASE post whatever you decide to do on Hometalk. These are great responses. I'll post soon. My room is very bright colors of various Turquoises and orange with a more NOLA style, complete with a back splash I painted a mural on of NOLA houses and hanging musical instruments.
