Wax Warmers

What are you doing with the melted wax from your wax melt warmer? I was thinking if I could find the same or close scent used I would melt them add the scent and pour the solution into one of those silcone trays and re-use them.Where do you find inexpensive scents? What kind would I use. Never worked with scents before so I am not sure this would even work.There is so much wax left over it would feel awful to throw them out. What are you doing with yours. Anyone???

I melt my extra wax down with the candle warmer, add scent place a new wick in an old candle glass container and now I can use up old wax. I purchased my candle scents from my local craft store. You don't even have to use a wick if you want to keep the glass jar on the candle warmer.

We add the leftover wax discs to our wood in the fireplace. Good firestarters and no residual mess.

I have lots of used candle warmer waxes and since I don't know what to do with them, I decided to melt all the different fragrances together, got quite a nice color and such an outstanding one big scent, I was pleasantly surprised. I then put in the middle a long wick and now I have a huge bottle of a new candle with at least 8 scents all rolled in one! They smell soooo good. You oughtta try it. You just might like it. :-)

You can purchase candle scent from your local craft store or online. Remelt the wax in the warmer and add several drops of scent. I get about 3 more uses from the melt that way.
