What would you do with the leftover cypress tree branches

Question

I've got a question for all the creative hometalkers out there. What would you do with the leftover cypress tree branches that are left over from falling during storms, trimmings, etc.  I'd like to reuse as much as possible (if possible, instead of just having hauled away) - but can't come up with anything right for this type of wood. Any ideas?

I just chop up all the branches in my yard for some DIY mulch. Not the most beautiful thing, but it helps protect the plants and keep out weeds.

Outdoor furniture?  I've seen twig furniture; perhaps cypress would work well too.

Thanks for the answers, but I'm still hoping for more ideas. Mulch is high on the list but  was hoping to do something fun and creative with it  (repurpose it)  I don't think there are enough larger branches for big furniture, hmm

Depending on the branch thickness and size..wood carvers and whittlers, enjoy  cypress wood.  Are there any wood clubs near you to contact?

Well the size is the important thing here, I guess.  Can you give us some idea of how tall and thick.  I'm thinking garden stakes, a mini trellis, glue them together for a bird house ...

They range between 1-5 inches diameter. The idea of finding local wood clubs and the Tuteur and birdhouse. I was toying with the birdhouse idea but I have more than enough for that, so maybe I can do the birdhouse, and a couple of the Tuteurs in the backyard!  Thank you all -- great ideas!

Small fencing or rails, or even a garden trellis or ladder for plants and vines.

You can make a bottle tree if you have branches those sizes - just think outside the box.... use a post of somekind for the trunk, drill holes for some branches, glue or screw them in, and you've got a tree.  Dress up the trunk - bottles, bird feeders, etc .  Here's 2 ideas I found.

Patio furniture, if they are big and thick enough. Weave them together, screws to uh old in place, put cushions on for comfort.
