White vinyl porch balusters - What can I do with the extra ones?

We redid our front porch a few years ago, and because of a few mistakes (don't ask!) we ended up with an excess of balusters. They are in a box, taking up a lot of space. I would love to find something to do with them.

Without seeing what the product looks like it is difficult to answer your question. Maybe if you post a photo of the material inspiration will strike us.

So I have one thought if perhaps you need to disguise anything on your property air conditioner or any thing else that is unsightly to you ,just like the posts around the deck you could creat the same look with whatever you need to cover and disguise.

@Pat C Ok just a thought so how about creating planters for the railings or the deck?

I have the same situation. Without the top and bottom rails we can't use them in the normal way. We could attach them to a square planter for dimension but I don't know how to make the open ends look good.

@thepainter Thanks for your reply. I keep thinking, there must be something creative I could do with them. I hate to just get rid of them. Hoping someone will come up with an idea we could both use!
  • You could string them up to make a ladder shape from them and hang it on a garden wall to create a trellis for growing vines.
