Gluing broken pieces of stained glass to an interior existing window

I have a rather large window that faces to the west. It gets awesome light and I prefer not to have blinds or curtains. Is it possible to glue small pieces of a broken stained glass window to it? And if so what kind of glue to use?

I belong to a fb group that does things like this for their gardens. I have read that they use Dap Auto and Marine Silicone, GE II, E 6000 among a few because they tend to last long periods outdoors and have a tendency to dry clear as well.

There is a glue called NANO470 it is for exactly what you need. Have fun with the project.

What if you get tired of the look at some point? I would hate to glue something permanently, so I'd just try hot gluing in case I want to pull the glass pieces off later.

I did it with weld bond, it dry's clear. I did a Frank Wright ish style on a south huge window in my kitchen still there 10 years later, grouted as I would any other project.

Thank you so much to everyone for your ideas! I am ready to get started with this project now I didn't tell you before but the stained glass pieces are from a huge birdbath that my husband gave me. I was heartbroken when a tree fell on it. I'll kept you posted!!!

You can use mosaic glue, it dries clear. I have use it for my mosaic inlay glass. After you have done gluing all the pieces. Make sure you grout your glasses. If not it will fall off. Happy crafting to you.

large stencil(dollarama) and a can of spray etching. i used it for privacy and still have light. and when i want to change it i will use a blade and scrape it off. easypeasy

You could also use a "stained glass" film. There are bunches of different designs; it's easy to put on your window, it adds a layer of insulation and uv protection from the sun, and easy to take off when/if you don't want it any more.
