without seeing your design tastes, I would go for vertical blinds, inside mount. Nothing to dust, multiple choices of openings.
Window film in a nice design and or color looks great and lets the light in but not peepers.
Window film would be a good solution. Frosted or translucent contact paper.
The stencels are so beautiful that people are using for privacy on Windows. A little work but so worth it.
Make sure to use a static cling window film. They apply with water and if you don't like it, you peel it off easily with no residue. I put it in my bathroom window and love it. The brand I purchased is Rabbitgoo off Amazon.
