If you are planning on leaving the plants on the shelf, you would need to put whatever type of drape or sheer you want on the back side of the opening so that they can continue to get sunlight. I would use a sheer and perhaps tie back curtains. I like the candle holders (if that is what they are), but they disappear up on the top shelf, all you see is the base,do you think they could come down to another level, or go down to the bottom and put what is on the bottom on top?Helpful Reply -

tinted glass ware. otherwise . concur.. I don't have anything in mine either. Although, I did see a post showing two tension rods with small pails hanging which held herbs.Helpful Reply -

If it were my window, and I were using my glassware in it instead of yours, I might use piece of antique lace as a valance, but that's me, not you. I really like your glassware and the way you've done it. I say leave it as it is. Unless you are being restless for something new. If so, then first try different glassware and see if that leads you to more ideas.Helpful Reply -

If you are keeping the items on the shelves - have a few more leafy plants and some containers which compliment the colors in the room. You have no color here.Helpful Reply -

I like it the way it is. But, it depends on how much colour your want. Change up the containers maybe? Also, I would place them in groupings of 3 and place things so there is some 'free' space - rather than 'in a row'. Some of the nice faux plants on the market now might be good too. No candles if you get much sun through the window. Have fun playing with things to get the desired results.Helpful Reply -
