Maybe return them if you just got them. Otherwise, I think I would make a fabric extension and put some little ties with snaps to hold them on to the base. Or you could glue a row of long fringe from the fabric store onto the base.Helpful Reply -

Lower the blinds to the length of your window and add a valance at the top of your window. You can make a simple valance to coordinate with your room colors or add a pop of color by intoducing a different color for the valance.Helpful Reply -

I like the idea of lowering them and add a valance like suggested above , although I'm not sure it will work, since it is a bay window. A quick fix is those trim works they sell at the fabric store. Pompoms are very popular now but not my style. Be sure to fold a little in on the ends and hot glue on each vane. Love to see pics when yer done!Helpful Reply -

Trim such as Pom poms or fringe or tassles. There are tons of different idea to suit your style and colors at the fabric stores. You can match wall colors or add a new color for fun. Also a fun thing I used in rentals were wall stickers. I got large magnolias for one house I rented. Just make sure they are removable. In an apartment I had encouraging words from a dollar store. Fun ways to make it cute when you are renting!Helpful Reply -
