Buy plastic film that is printed to look like stained glass. You can find it at large hardware stores and online.
Hi Nanaw. I'm Cindy. I think this would be a perfect situation to use glass window clings. Different designs, including stained glass, and different colors to choose from.
Thanks Suellen and Cindy!
Lowe's carry's a line of window films in various colors and patterns that you can install yourself.
I have a super simple answer!! Here is a post I wrote about faux frosted glass. I show you the links for all sorts of different films you can apply to the glass to create a stained or frosted glass finish. It's super duper easy and can be removed for a change!
Is it in the tub (my bathroom's only window is in the tub - glass block)? If so, window clings won't work well since moisture will get behind them.
Contact paper or other adhesive window film that is printed to look like stained glass is likely your best bet.
Make sure the window is really clean and free of any residual cleaner. Apply the adhesive window film from the top down by exposing just a little strip of the adhesive to start so you can position it to be straight and then peeling and smoothing all the air bubbles out as you go. Making sure all the bubble are gone will be extra important in a bathroom since they tend to change temperature and humidity regularly as people shower.
