You have little pops of black throughout your kitchen, so my thought is to paint the inside striped part of the hutch black (it will be minimized by whatever you fill the hutch with), will make light/white items "pop", also for consistency paint the striped part of the doors black to keep it coordinated. Remove the wire mesh part if you like, I like it as is. Change the hardware to match the cabinets (or just make them more similar). And for the scratches on the wood, simply rub a piece of walnut across, they will disappear. Honestly! Can hardly wait to see what you decide, don't forget the pictures!!

Locker shelf- what could I do?

@Valerie Found another one! We took the legs off, because we can...and I was thinking how nice it would be to make some display more dimensional by using one (or more) as a base. Either spray paint or just drape with some coordinating/contrasting fabric.

It resembles a headboard to me. If perhaps the room it might dwell in is large (bed in the middle of the room), have the shelf be on the back of the headboard as a way to separate the bed area from a desk/study/library area.
Perhaps place a top on it making it into a table (sofa table) or room divider. Or add a platform and legs at chair height to make a bench.

GLITTER! Some folks fear glitter...I say embrace it! And more than that, just have fun. Markers and stickers could be fun too.
What can be done with wine bottles

Search on pinterest. Directions to easily cut glass, make into a vase or glass, maybe decorate it for a centerpiece.
