Modern & Colorful Christmas Home Tour
Over the Thanksgiving weekend we got a lot of snow in Denver and it put me in a jolly, decorating mood! And just in time for me to participated in the with some of my favorite bloggers. I love seeing how everyone decorates for Christmas in their own unique styles!
My Christmas decor could best be described as colorful and modern, and probably a little unexpected! On our main floor, the color scheme is red and teal, with lots of black and white stripes! I even covered a huge canvas painting in our living room with stripes and a print of the lyrics to one of my favorite Christmas songs!
Since we have young kids, the glass ornaments have to be kept out of reach of little hands. I hung lots of them in our living room windows, and I love the way they catch shimmer in the sunlight!
Our large Christmas tree is in the basement between our family room and the kids' playroom. It's also decked out in grey, white and orange, and all the ornaments are are made of felt so that the tree is totally safe and hands on for the kids. {photos and details at the link below}
